Two-car accident

Commuting on Main Street got a little tougher this morning as an Atlas Moving Van pulled down the phone and cable lines near Smitchger’s Realty. The mishap occurred shortly after 8 a.m.

A two-car accident had traffic blocked in both directions on Route 32. The cause of the accident is unknown, but at least one patient was transported to the hospital and treated for a head injury.

Lisa Castanon, whose car was hit by a train in November, appeared in court last night and pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while impaired.
