Barbara Little Perry

March 30, 1940-September 30, 2014

Barbara Little Perry died Tuesday, Sept. 30 following a brief illness. She was born March 30, 1940, the first child of Frank and Doris Little of Fredonia. She graduated with the class of 1958 from Fredonia High School, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in January 1962, and was awarded a master’s degree at SUNY Fredonia in 1968.

Barbara had a lengthy career teaching English in middle and high schools in the Cornwall Central School District; she served as a docent/guide at the Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, and volunteered for over 20 years with Planned Parenthood of the Mid Hudson Valley .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E. Perry, in March 2004. She is survived by her stepson, Craig Perry and his wife Coleen of Highland, N.Y., and their children, Selena and Aidan, and her stepson, Dennis Perry and his wife Carrie of Yakima, Wash., and their son, Gilbert. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael Little and his wife Sheryl of York, Maine, and Douglas Little and wife Debbie, of Charlottesville, Va., along with numerous cousins, nephews, and a niece.

A memorial service will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 11 at her home, 5 Tilford Place in Cornwall.

Paul G. Timmons

February 7, 1952-September 30, 2014

Paul G. Timmons, of Cornwall entered into eternal rest on Sept. 30 at home. He was 62 years old.

The son of Paul G. Timmons and Catherine Puleo Timmons, Paul was born on Feb. 7, 1952 in the Bronx. He  was an Operations Manager for Dunkin Donuts in Orangeburg .

Paul G. Timmons  is survived by his wife Carmela Rodish  Timmons of Dingmans Ferry Penn,; his son Christopher Paul Timmons of  New Windsor; his daughters Samantha Youmans and her husband William of Salisbury Mills  and Jennifer Storck and husband Doyle of New Paltz; his  brother Jay Timmons of Colorado and sister Linda Robinson of the Bronx; his grandchildren Stella and Robert Youmans and also Riley Autry; and  several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Dennis and Michael Timmons.

His family received visitors  on Monday, Oct. 6 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Internment will be private.
