Michael A. Priore

September 4, 1931 – July 9, 2014

Michael A. Priore of New Windsor passed away at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh on July 9. The son of the late Carmine and Mary Riccio Priore, he was born on Sept. 4, 1931 in Manhattan, N.Y. He was 82 years old. He was the beloved husband, soul mate, and teen age sweetheart  of Camille Domanico Priore.

Michael was a manager for many years at NY Telephone Company in the Bronx. He served his country in the Army in Korea. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Camille Priore at home. He was blessed with two sons, Michael F. Priore   of Highland Mills and Robert P. Priore and their wives Elizabeth and Lisa, who were like daughters to him. Other survivors include his brother Dominick Priore and wife Flo of New Rochelle; his sisters Josephine Peluso of Middletown and Carolia Blackwood of Monrovia, Calif. He was predeceased by his brothers Vincent, Gaetano, Anthony and Pat. He leaves behind his grandchildren Daniel, Kent, Julianne, Luke and Mikaila; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family received visitors on July 11 at the Quigley Brothers Funeral Home in Cornwall-on-Hudson. A funeral mass was held on July 12 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Newburgh, and was followed by cremation at Cedar Hill Crematory.
