The public hearing on Kiryas Joel’s request to draw water from a well on Route 32 in Mountainville will be held tomorrow (April 29) at Cornwall Central High School. Motorists can get to the high school by taking Route 94 and turning south on Dragon Drive.
There will be sessions starting at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Members of the audience can come and go at any time. When people arrive at the hearing they can fill out a comment card if they want to speak.
People can also send written comments to Scott Ballard of the DEC at r3dep@gw.dec.state.ny.us. As of last week, the deadline for writing to Mr. Ballard was April 29.
