Teresa (Teri) Fox

November 21, 1966-September 24, 2013

Teresa (Teri) Fox died at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital on Sept. 24. She was 46 and a resident of Highland Mills.

The daughter of Thomas and Francine Gensch O’Keefe, she was born in the Bronx on Nov. 21, 1966. She was married to Herbert (Bert) Fox, and was a teacher with the Balmville School in the Newburgh Enlarged School District.

Survivors include her husband1 Bert at home; her son Steven and her daughter Jennifer at home; her father, Thomas O’Keefe; her brothers Robert and Danny O’Keefe, and Tim, Darren and Thomas Sullivan; her sisters Helen, Kathy, Lorraine, Peggy and Jenifer O’Keefe. She was predeceased by her mother, Francine O’Keefe, and her brother Thomas O’Keefe.

Visitation and a funeral service took place at Quigley Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 28, and was followed by cremation.

Margaret E. (Peggy) Straub

April 12, 1924-September 23, 2013

Margaret E. (Peggy) Straub died on Sept. 23 at the Aurora Senior Living Center in New Britain, Conn. She was 89 and a former resident of Cornwall.

The daughter of Francis and Margaret (Heppenheimer) McNulty, she was born in the Bronx on April 12, 1924. She was the widow of Alexander Straub, and a member of Catholic Daughters and TOPS.

Survivors include her daughters Margaret A. Straub of New Britain, Conn.; Wanda (Mrs. Joseph) Riter of Suffolk, Va. and Elizabeth (Mrs. Jeffery) Pulawski of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her grandchildren Matthew Straub, Ryan (Serenity) Pulawski, John Riter, Daniel Riter, Kelly (David) Waterhouse and Mary Pulawski; her great grandchildren Isaac Pulawski, Elijah Pulawski and Chloe Waterhouse; her brother Thomas F. McNulty of North Brunswick, N.J.; and several loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters Catherine and Georgiana McNulty.
There was no visitation. A funeral mass was celebrated on Sept. 27 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall. Burial was in St. Thomas Cemetery.
