Linda L. O’Carroll

May 1, 1948-May 24, 2013

Linda L. O’Carroll, daughter of the late Louise and Edward Blaho, was born May 1, 1948 in Bronx, NY. After a bravely fought battle with cancer, Linda entered into rest on May 24 at her home in Buckeye, Ariz.  She was 65 years young.

Linda was a longtime resident of Cornwall-on-Hudson.  She is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin, her loving son, Edward Benvenuto of Bardonia, NY, stepdaughter, Kristin Benesowitz and her husband Ryan of Denver, N.C. as well as her beloved family and close friends.

Linda’s kind and generous nature touched the lives of many, including her students and teachers during a dedicated career in education and administration, finally retiring from her post as Assistant Principal at PS 89 in the Bronx.

The family received visitors on Thursday, May 30 at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, Ariz.  A Funeral Mass was celebrated on May 31 at St. Clement of Rome Roman Catholic Church, Sun City, Ariz.  Additional services in New York are planned for later this summer.
