Route 9W southbound, just after Mountain Road, was closed for about 90 minutes while an accident was cleared earlier this morning. A vehicle rolled over shortly before 9 a.m. after the driver failed to negotiate a turn.

Commuting on Main Street got a little tougher this morning as an Atlas Moving Van pulled down the phone and cable lines near Smitchger’s Realty. The mishap occurred shortly after 8 a.m.
A motor vehicle accident, involving a car and tractor trailer, has both southbound lanes blocked on Route 9w, underneath the Angola Road overpass. Drivers of both vehicles appeared to be alert. The accident took place at about 12:30 p.m.
