ornwall High School sent out a text and email blast last Thursday that said: “Congratulations Ellen & Moses!”

The school board had just heard a presentation on the Common Core Standards at the high school level. When it was time for input, the board’s president, Melanie Robinson, wondered about the future. Will colleges notice a difference in four or five years?

“We won’t be out of the woods,” Harvey Sotland told the school board last night, “until we know what path the state will put us on.”
