Tree takes down power lines

It started two years ago as the Tri-Chamber Expo. Now it’s called the “Community Connection” and it includes businesses and non-profit organizations.

Trustee David Carnright brought to the board’s attention a way in which residents are avoiding paying for a riverfront parking pass.

Shortly before 1 p.m., a spark from a transformer caused a brush fire and power outage to over 2,000 residents living in the Town of Cornwall and Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson.
