James Randazzo

February 1, 1940-July 24, 2015

James Randazzo of Washingtonville entered into rest on July 24.  He was 75.

James was born in Cornwall on Feb. 1, 1940 to Rocco and Dorothy (Twiggs) Randazzo. He worked at Cornwall Press, Cornwall Central School District and was a longtime member of Salisbury Mills Fire Co. He was a US Army Veteran who served as a military policeman.

James was a peaceful warrior who lived a very simple life. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Goll of Washingtonville; his sons, James A. Randazzo and his wife Carolyn, Scott Randazzo and his wife Pattiann, both of Campbell Hall; Matt Goll and his wife Jessica of New York City, his daughter, Christine Goll and her fiancé Jimmy Mullen of Blooming Grove; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Ashley, Ryan, Jake and Charlotte; brothers, Rocco Randazzo and his wife Alice of New Windsor, Richard Randazzo and his wife Mary of Cornwall, and Eugene Randazzo of Cornwall-on-Hudson; his sisters, Jean Paolini of Cornwall-on-Hudson, Frances and her husband Jerry Jaeger of Mountainville, and Dottie Randazzo of Cornwall-on-Hudson as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

James was predeceased by his sister Barbara Randazzo and his former wife Merrily Richardson.

His family received visitors on Monday, July 27 at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home in Washingtonville. A Mass of Christian burial was held on July 28, at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville, and was followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Washingtonville.

Robert W. Vogel

January 27, 1969-July 18, 2015

Robert W. Vogel, 46, of Florida, formerly of Cornwall-on-Hudson, entered into rest on Saturday, July 18.

The son of the late Frank and Ruth Post Vogel, he was born on Jan. 27, 1969 in Cornwall.

Robert was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and he will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife Tina at home; sisters Gladys Pacenza and her husband Jim; and Susan Armitage and her husband Jeff; nieces Kristi, Chelsea, and Jessica; nephew James, Jr. and great-niece Madison.  He was predeceased by his brother Frank Vogel, Jr.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
