Marjorie R. Satterly

February 25, 1925-January 25, 2013

Marjorie R. Satterly, age 87, entered into rest on Friday, Jan. 25, at Sacred Journey Hospice, McDonough, Ga, with her family at her bedside.  She was a lifelong resident of the Cornwall, N. Y. area, and was a retired teacher from Cornwall Elementary School, where she loved teaching.

She was born Feb. 25, 1925 in Newburgh to the late Robert and Marion Thompson; and was preceded in death by her brothers, Gordon and Robert Thompson.

She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Siebern (son-in-law Douglas) of McDonough, Ga. and Donna Lapierre of Fort Edward, N.Y.; grandchildren Joseph Siebern, Allison Siebern, Chelsea Medley, Jason Lapierre and eight great-grandchildren.  She was the beloved first wife of the late Joseph Satterly of Cornwall.  Marjorie enjoyed travel, swimming, skiing, winter, and was an avid cat lover.

Barbara Ann Andrews

October 15, 1936-January 24, 2013

Barbara Ann Andrews died on Jan. 24 at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh. She was 76 and a resident of New Windsor.

The daughter of Blaine and Gladys Raymond Woodall, she was born on Oct. 15, 1936 in West Point. She was married to Eugene N. Andrews for 57 years, and was retired after working as a bus driver for George M. Carroll Transportation.

Survivors include her husband at home; her daughters Barbara Coneski and her husband Anthony of Newburgh, and Jean Marie Callahan and her husband Lewis of Newburgh; her grandchildren Anthony Coneski, Jillian Credo, Creg Callahan, Jesse Callahan and Toby Callahan; and her great granddaughter Tammie Credo.

The family received visitors on Jan. 26 at Quigley Brothers Funeral Home in Cornwall-on-Hudson. A funeral service was held at the end of visiting hours and was followed by cremation.
