Edgar Hembree Jr.

December 2, 1957-September 19, 2014

Edgar  Hembree Jr, of New Windsor  entered into eternal rest on Sept. 19 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was 56 years old.

The son of Edgar Hembree Sr. and Deanna Potter Hembree, Edgar  was born on Dec. 2, 1957 in Cornwall..He  was a long time Filter Plant Operator  for the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Water Department.

He is survived by his long time partner Karen Khejl at home; his children John and Brian Hembree both of Cornwall; his mother Deanna Hembree of Highland Falls; his brother and sisters: Gary Smith, Bonnie Sybers of Wisconsin and Tara Warner of Highland Falls; his nephews Escobar Altidor and Gary Smith Jr.  He was predeceased by his father Edgar Hembree Sr.

A funeral service will be held at  noon  on Friday, Sept. 26 at Quigley Brothers Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson.
