Shortly before midnight, on Aug. 24, Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department responded to 19 Church St. where officers discovered the body of a middle-aged male dead by a single gunshot wound. The New York State Police, in conjunction with local police, is investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police in Montgomery at 845-457-1388.
